Full line-up revealed

We are proud to reveal the full program of Big Sounds Amsterdam 2025! 

On October the 1st, JONG JOC is added as support for the New Cool Collective Big Band in the Concertgebouw. JONG JOC is the young talent big band of the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw and is conducted by Chris Muller.

On October 2nd, catch the next generation of jazz musicians as the CvA Jazz Collective performs with American vibraphonist Sasha Berliner at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

From 2-5 October the ZOJazz Stage in Amsterdam-Zuidoost will feature workshops and masterclasses with Deborah J. Carter and Avishai Darash, culminating in a brand-new composition to be performed on Sunday, October 5th.

On October the 4th, de Kompaszaal will host a full day of big band fun with a history lecture, music from bands like Caledonians, Biggles and Jazzalike, DJs, and a Lindy Hop workshop for beginners.

On October the 5th a one-of-a-kind project will take place in the Concertgebouw. Jazzvocalists Anna Serierse and Nina Rompa are creating a special vocal-only big band which sings jazz repertoire: The A-Mee-Zing Big Band. Are you passionate about singing? Sign up!

On October the 12th, big band, drum band, and brass band will Meet in the Middle. Ritmo Entertainment and Wijktalentorkest NEXT Zuidoost will perform in the atrium of BIMHUIS alongside young saxophonists, trumpeters, and trombonists under the leadership of Maite Hontelé.
